Welcome to the Guide of Dubai Fishing competition 2021. This is the 4 th year running for fishing competition, when it started it was to raise money towards the purchase 6 O’Pen bic boats, this is where the name open Fishing competition came from. Over the years the club has continued to run this competition for general fundraising needs the club has to keep our membership fees low, in doing so we have kept it as an open competition where anyone and everyone is welcome to enter, you don’t even need a boat, fishing from shore is also allowed. This festival will hook you in from the get-go, competitors battle it out in the biggest haul and take home the first-place prize. Organized by the Dubai International Marine Club or DIMC, this tournament arrives as part of a months-long calendar that highlights traditional water sports to celebrate local heritage.
